INDEPENDENCE DAY
Following the official unveiling of the monument Armenia Immortal on September 21, 2002, the Armenian Embassy in Canada hosted a luncheon to celebrate the 11th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia. The luncheon held at the Chateau Laurier Hotel in Ottawa, was attended by over 250 guests, including clergy and leaders of the Armenian-Canadian communities of Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto. On September 20, the Armenian Embassy held an Independence Day reception for Canadian officials and diplomatic corps.
