MAJOR SECTORS OF THE ECONOMY

Armenia has a diversified economy, with well-developed electronics and electrical engineering capacity. One of the leading industries is diamond processing, which accounts for one-fifth of exports. Other sectors with a competitive advantage are pharmaceuticals, information technology and machine tools.
